Welcome to Excel Charter Academy
You have an extraordinary child…
You want a school that delivers an extraordinary education.
Excel Charter Academy delivers excellence in education.
Founded in 1995, Grand Rapids' Excel Charter Academy is the school that started the revolution! The first of the National Heritage Academies, Excel’s staff members and parents built the curriculum standards and moral focus program that all of NHA’s schools have modeled since.
Operating on a four pillar approach to a well-rounded academic experience, Excel combines rigorous academics with moral focus, while encouraging parental involvement and student responsibility. Excel students progress well above national norms in reading, language usage, and math. Excel’s rigorous academic program is best suited for students who are interested in attending college after completing high school. Students at Excel are challenged to be their best. We are committed to educating our students hearts and minds as we prepare them to be future leaders.
